DR Movie was awarded a special prize for Environmentally-Aware at the 1st Seoul International Cartoon & Animation Festival (SICAF) for its experimental animation, 'Memories' in 1995. The very next year, its original short animation, 'Night Watcher' was selected for Grand Prix and the Best Director at the 2nd SICAF.

DR Movie has produced numerous American and Japanese game animations including the opening sequence of 'G-police', and TV commercials which received highly favorable responses. Especially during the 1998, a pilot film of ‘Wonderful Days’ which DR co-developed and co-produced with Tinhouse was highly acclaimed by the critics with its innovative techniques and creative visions.

Since the year 2000, DR Movie has been expanding its animation contents business. Founded on DR's 'creativity' and 'digital technology', the contents business focuses on 2.5D digital animation, flash animation and full 3D animation. Up until the year 2019, DR plans to produce more than 100 original animations, consist of 15 TV series, 12 feature animations for the theatrical release, and 80 other animations including flash animations.

Recently, DR has successfully produced TV animation series called 'Michel’ and presented 8 flash animations and 14 oddball characters including ‘Ms. Pack’ through its webzine FAPER.
DR is in the process of developing a feature animation.
