Having been recognized with its technical achievement, DR
MOVIE has been appointed as an exclusive partner of Mad House,
Japan, a notoriously demanding studio. GONZO, MATRIX and DIGIMATION
are other leading Japanese animation studios that DR Movie
has cooperated.
Few people know DR Movie is the only foreign studio where
famous Studio Ghibri sends orders outside of Japan. Making
the first cooperation in 1997 starting with 'Princess Mononoke',
DR Movie has done in-betweens and Digital post-productions
for 'Spirited Away' in 2001, proving (providing) its technical
superiority.
DR established key animation department in 1996, filming department
in 1997, and equipped the complete 2D digital production system
in 1999, enabling its independent production throughout the
process. By successfully completing Universal Studio's TV
series, 'Wing Commander', HBO's 'Spawn', Film Roman's 'X-Men'
Warner Bros.' 'Zeta Project', 'JLA', DR has proved its' advanced
technical skills.

Up until recently, prominent Japanese studios were reluctant
to outsource pre-production works since pre-production has
been the core of animation production which few Korean studios
were capable of handling.
Since DR has been fostering professional animators and investing
in acquiring the production know-how to strengthen its facilities,
DR was able to successfully undergo the complete pre-productions
process for Mad House's 'Beyblade' series and Digimation's
'Final Fantasy Unlimited' series. They were the first in Korean
animation production history.
* <Bayblade>was collaborative work with
Seoul animation (Korea) and Mad House (Japan). In year 2001,
the TV series were the most popular TV animation in both Korea
and Japan.
