Michel

 
'Michel' is the first TV animation series that we directed for ourselves. Co-working with 'Diamond AD' was started in 2000, and the animation's excellency was verified owing to winning a prize at '2002 KBS public participation'.
We've been trying to establish the most efficient production system through production of this animation.
  This system utilizes global network of three countries, Korea, Japan and China. Using this system, we expect to reduce the production cost, improve the quality of animation and interchange each other's know-how and human resource, combining the resource and the capital.

Mad House(Japan) helps a part of pre-production; writers and directors belonging in Mad House fully review Korean artisans' scenario and storyline. Main production parts are charged in DR.MOVIE (Korea) entirely and Sanghai animation film studio (China) works inbetween animation and digital coloring. DR MOVIE's artisans would go to China for supporting them.

 

In addition, three countries' collaboration continues to build up the network model of production, distribution and merchandising. Now in Japan, we are negotiating with 'D-rights' about distribution channels, and the largest public studio in China, 'Shanghai animation film studio', will manage distribution to Shanghai's TV and Beijing CCTV and all merchandising business.

This animation is a story about young hero, named Gaia, who keeps the most beautiful treasure from villains. It describes real courage, friendships and the value of nature. This comic adventure fantasy animation (26 series/30min) is supposed to be released in the end of 2002.
